This class is an introduction to drawing class. We will cover the first element of art, line. Students will learn what a line is, the different types of lines, and how using different lines in art create different looks.

Class layout:
Students will learn about line and the different types of lines. Students will participate is several line activities that will allow students to practice making the different types of lines.
We will also talk about Leonardo da Vinci and his use of lines in his Duck drawings.

Students will be able to ask questions. They will be encouraged to comment on activities and the processes to complete the activities.

Benefits of art activities:

1. Students will work on fine-motor skills by drawing different types of lines.
2. Students will observe several drawings by Leonardo da Vinci in order to see how he used lines in art.
3. Students will use their creativity to fill in a duck with whatever types of lines they like.
